Do you accept first time renters?
Sure! Everyone rents their first apartment and we would love your first apartment to be with The Apartment Shop. As long as you meet our rental requirements (please see our Web site section “Rental Requirements”) we would be happy to rent to a first time renter!
Do renters have to have perfect credit?
No. At The Apartment Shop, we require that you do not owe money to any other landlords. We realize that everyone can face financial challenges. Our main concern is that you have paid your rent on time previously and that you can afford the apartment that you rent.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes! We welcome most pets with additional pet fees. Renters may have dogs at any of our properties where the units have hardwood floors. There is no limit based on size, rather there are a few breeds we do not allow (rottwiellers, pit bulls, dobermans, chows and german shepherds). All pets must be approved by the management PRIOR to moving into the apartment.
What types of buildings do you offer?
We strive to truly have something for everyone! Our property portfolio ranges from historic, turn of the century brownstones, to modern three-story walk-ups to a luxury high-rise. We literally have hundreds of floor plans! Give us a call to schedule a showing of available units.
When is rent due?
Rent is due on the first day of each month as stated in your lease. There is a five day grace period before a late fee is charged.
